Location: Mahwah, NJ
Pay Rate: $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Full-time, non-exempt position with a 9/80 schedule
Overtime: Occasional Fridays and Saturdays

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Mahwah. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and packaging electronic and mechanical components and finished products according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has an electronics background, can read technical drawings and schematics, and is comfortable using electronic testing equipment. This role also supports the development and testing of new products and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble product subassemblies, final assemblies, and accessories according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
- Test products and components to verify functionality, performance, and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment, electronic devices, and assemblies.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and optical assembly using calibrated tools and test equipment.
- Set up and operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Operate electronic testing equipment, including multimeters, HiPot testers, and optical power meters.
- Assist engineers with prototype development, product testing, and improvements to manufacturing processes.
- Complete assignments independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized production areas and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field, or relevant technical school certification.
- 1–2 years of electronics experience.
- Knowledge of electronic components, circuit boards, processors, and related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience using electronic test equipment, such as multimeters, HiPot testers, and optical power meters.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electronic assembly, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
