Pay Range: 90-120k with yearly bonus potential

This company designs and builds specialized machinery used by farmers across the U.S., and they’re looking for a seasoned Plant Manager to take the lead at their manufacturing facility. About the Role:
The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, quality, inventory, and budgeting. This role also plays a strategic part in supporting product development in collaboration with the Engineering and Sales teams. You’ll work closely with staff, vendors, equipment dealers, and end-users. Some travel (approx. 10%) is required. The position offers significant autonomy and expects strong results.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage plant operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement
Manage production schedules, cost controls, and inventory systems
Collaborate with Sales and Engineering on new product development
Coach, mentor, and build a strong, accountable team
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers
Who We’re Looking For:
5+ years of leadership experience in equipment manufacturing, ideally with R&D exposure
Hands-on experience with MRP systems, including BOMs, costing, inventory, and work orders
Solid background in metal fabrication, with strong knowledge of welding and manufacturing processes
Proven track record of internal promotion within a manufacturing environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
