Job Full Description

Paraplanner:

• Screen all referrals and prospects
• Collect and maintain pertinent financial planning information.
• Collaboration with other team members.
• Manage other FP team member(s) to ensure clients’ tasks are worked on in a timely manner, intervene when issues arise and address financial planning related questions.
• Monitor the work that other departments complete for mutual clients to ensure it is in line with the client's overall financial plan.
• Ensure other team members have completed their prep work for financial planning meetings.
• Work on financial plans in eMoney.
  • Requires scheduling multiple meetings with Jeremy to discuss, review the financial plan and make adjustments accordingly. This is necessary for even an experienced financial planner as Jeremy must understand the plan that is created in order to present it to the client.
• Prepare the advisor for upcoming client appointments by ensuring that all pertinent information, paperwork and reports are collected from team members.
• Follow up on all action items in a timely and thorough manner.
• Research information as necessary on a case-by-case basis.
• Receive and respond to client requests each day, and in a timely manner.
• Document all client-related activity in Redtail
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled Team meetings
• Assist in managing relationships and account reviews, promoting firm services to deepen client relationships
• Prioritize daily work, track progress for current work, and consistently meet deadlines. This includes monitoring the rest of the financial planning team’s work to ensure overall success for the department.
• Create and maintain efficient processes for the financial planning team to follow.
