Machinist / Lathe Operator
Location: Hanford, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Pay: $25.00-$30.00
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Machinist / Lathe Operator for a manufacturing company in Hanford, CA. This position involves machining precision metal components used in fuel and water truck manufacturing.
Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Adjust machine settings to meet required dimensions and tolerances.

Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance.

Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Requirements:
-
3–5 years of hands-on machine shop experience or training.

Experience operating manual lathes and other machining equipment.

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
