Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is a seeking a Community Manager to support the daily operations of assigned homeowners associations (HOAs) and helps ensure each community runs smoothly and efficiently. This position works closely with the Senior Community Manager and HOA Boards to provide great service to homeowners, assist with property maintenance coordination, and maintain accurate records and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Community Management
- Manage the daily operations for 8–10 HOA communities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and HOA Boards.
- Facilitate and attend board and annual meetings, taking minutes and assisting with meeting preparation.
- Conduct routine property inspections and follow up on maintenance or compliance issues.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair work by obtaining bids, scheduling services, and monitoring vendor performance.
- Ensure community standards are upheld and that work orders and projects are completed promptly.
Administrative & Financial Support
- Prepare and distribute newsletters, violation notices, and meeting packets.
- Maintain accurate community records, contracts, and correspondence.
- Assist with reviewing invoices and tracking budgets to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support accounting and collections processes as needed.
Board & Resident Relations
- Build positive relationships with Board members and homeowners through professional communication and follow-through.
- Support Boards in executing decisions, enforcing policies, and managing community priorities.
- Provide timely responses to homeowner inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in HOA or property management, administration, or customer service preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Certification: CMCA® license preferred (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with HOA governing documents, budgets, and vendor management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Vantaca.
