Job Full Description
Express is looking for a CBD and Hemp Extraction Technician to join a manufacturing company located in Delta, Colorado. In this role, you'll be responsible for extracting CBD and hemp into various solvents using high-pressure machinery. You'll work closely with their production team to ensure the process runs smoothly and safely, and theit products meets the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain high-pressure extraction machinery to process hemp and CBD biomass into concentrated extracts.
- Prepare and handle solvents and other materials used in the extraction process.
- Monitor extraction parameters, troubleshoot equipment issues, and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality and safety.
- Transfer finished extracts to packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all extraction equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or laboratory setting is a plus, but not required. They are willing to train the right candidate.
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Common sense and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials, and to stand for extended periods.
