Modular Housing Construction Company looking to hire Production Manager Immediately in Grand Junction. 

Role Overview:

The Production Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for daily operations within the manufacturing facility. You’ll oversee every step of the production process — from material staging and wall panel fabrication to full home assembly and transport coordination. Your job is to hit output goals while ensuring the highest standards in safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll lead a growing team, enforce lean manufacturing practices, and work closely with procurement, design, and install teams to deliver homes on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Scheduling: Create and execute shift schedules to meet build targets and coordinate with install timelines.
  • Workflow Management: Organize labor and material flow across stations to maintain smooth operations and minimal downtime.
  • Material Handling: Oversee safe movement of materials and modules using overhead cranes, forklifts, hoists, and rigging systems.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and hold accountable all production team members; build a performance-first shop culture.
  • Lean Implementation: Drive continuous improvement with 5S, Kaizen, takt time balancing, and visual management systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead QC processes to ensure every wall, roof, and floor component meets design and spec requirements.
  • Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce protocols, and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant facility.
  • Tooling & Technology: Implement and maintain use of CNC equipment, automated jigs, robotic systems (where applicable).
  • System & Software Oversight: Manage production tracking using NetSuite, Asana, and Builder’s View integrations.
  • Reporting & Optimization: Use data from Gemini and NetSuite to identify inefficiencies and lead operational upgrades.

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or construction management
  • Experience managing labor and materials in a high-volume shop or plant environment
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and Asana, or similar operations software
  • Strong background in material handling, including overhead cranes, forklifts, and industrial lifting equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, enforce standards, and maintain production pace
  • Deep familiarity with scheduling, SOPs, safety protocols, and lean workflows
  • Hands-on, floor-first leadership style — not a desk manager Preferred:
  • Experience with CNC routing, robotic framing systems, or automated panel equipment 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar operating frameworks ? Experience with offsite or modular housing workflows
