Job Full Description
Looking for a part-time Beverage Distributor Delivery Driver in Montrose.
PART-TIME - 20 HOURS A WEEK
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am - 5pm
Could turn in to full-time employment.
Key Duties:
- Picking orders for delivery, and completing assigned deliveries if required.
- Unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts).
- Follows proper inventory rotation methods, transfers goods from bulk storage to picking locations.
- Records and reports inventory discrepancies in system and/or to manager, and assists in inventory audits and physical counts.
- Support other warehouse functions such as packing, shipping, or returns as needed.
- Pulls merchandise from inventory using voice pick system, lifting and carrying merchandise and packaging merchandise securely to avoid damage.
- Loads delivery trucks in order of route manifest in a secure manner that minimizes product damage and creates a safe environment for all employees.
- Operates company vehicle with GVWR of 26,000 lbs in a professional, safe and courteous manner.
- Ensures accurate delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices, while providing great customer service to our clients.
- Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
- Assists in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times.
- Provides customer with receipt or credit form for merchandise to be picked up.
The job is fast paced and will require excellent communication, time and task
management skills.
