Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver for a short-term assignment based in Augusta, GA. In this role, you will operate a 26-foot box truck and complete daily delivery routes between Augusta and Savannah. This position requires an early morning start and the ability to work until deliveries are completed. Must have a DOT card.
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 24 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck.
- Complete daily delivery routes from Augusta to Savannah.
- Load, transport, and deliver products in a timely manner.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and customers.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience driving a 26-foot box truck.
- Valid driver's license.
- Current DOT Medical Card required.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Must be available to work the entire assignment period.
- Ability to report to work at 3:00 AM each day and work until deliveries are completed.
