Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join a growing team in Augusta, GA. This position plays a vital role in maintaining product quality, preparing materials for production, and ensuring customer orders are accurately fulfilled and shipped on time. Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently (Palletizing).
- Inspect products for defects, damage, or quality concerns before shipment.
- Prepare aluminum tracks and materials for painting and production operations.
- Verify inventory, quantities, and product specifications to ensure order accuracy.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions while maintaining productivity goals.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve order fulfillment and quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures, policies, and warehouse standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience.
- 1+ years of experience with quality inspections and identifying product defects.
- Palletizing experience
- Familiarity with production preparation or material handling processes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks safely and efficiently.
