As an Entry Level Welder on the 1st Shift, you will be integral to our fabrication team, utilizing core skills in MIG welding and blueprint reading to produce high-quality metal components. Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, your role will involve operating power tools and hand tools to meet production goals. Your premium skills in construction site practices and familiarity with various welding techniques will enhance your contributions. Additionally, relevant skills such as mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics will support our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Welder- MIG responsibilities:
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform tasks at hand
- Ensure that quality standards are met or exceeded in all welding projects
- Perform maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards
