Job Full Description
We are currently working with a well-established manufacturing company, to find a qualified Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on technical experience to contribute to the upkeep and smooth operation of a high-performance manufacturing facility. Schedule: 6:00AM -2:30PM
Qualifications:
- 5 years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, equipment, and repairs
- Experience in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems)
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 50lbs
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and identify machines or equipment requiring repairs
- Troubleshoot issues and determine necessary repairs
- Use blueprints or equipment manuals to plan repair work
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Clean and assist with general upkeep of the facilities
- Order necessary supplies and materials for repairs
- Communicate any safety concerns or issues related to the facility
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and contribute to QMS effectiveness
- Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality, while working effectively in a team
