Job Full Description
We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep a production facility running at peak performance. In this role, you will handle everything from high-level machinery repair to essential building upkeep.
Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM
Pay: $23.50/hr-$27.50/hr
Job Responsibilities
- Install new production machinery and equipment.
- Visually inspect and listen to machines to diagnose malfunctions; dismantle equipment to repair or replace parts.
- Provide emergency repairs during production and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or electrical issues.
- Repair broken parts, replace motors and belts, and adjust feed mechanisms.
- Perform basic electrical work, including connecting wires to motors, replacing switches, and splicing/insulating wire.
- Handle facility upkeep, such as patching/painting walls, clearing drains, and replacing plumbing fixtures.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by lubricating parts and removing waste/grease from machines.
- Perform routine housekeeping and building maintenance as required.
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic in a machine shop setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electronics and hydraulics.
- Proven ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to stand, climb, crawl, and lift as needed in a manufacturing environment.
- Must follow all safety and preventive maintenance systems.
- Reliable transportation (may be required to use personal vehicle for assignments).
- Ability to provide own tools for use on the job.
