Job Title: Shipping Associate – 1st Shift
Department: Shipping
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
Our client in Westfield, IN is seeking a reliable and experienced Shipping Associate to join their team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a shipping or warehouse environment and be proficient in operating both standup reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Shipping/Warehouse Experience: Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is required.
- Equipment Operation: Proficient in operating:
- Standup reach trucks
- Sit-down forklifts
- Technology Skills: Experience using RF scanners and computers is required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment while standing or sitting for extended periods.
- Must be able to:
- Step up/down, balance, stoop, reach, stand, walk, pull, push, lift, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
- Move materials between pallets on the floor.
- Lift up to 40 lbs consistently, 60 lbs occasionally, and team-lift items over 60 lbs as needed.
- Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
- Must be comfortable working in environments with dirt/dust, noise, and temperature variations (hot/cold).
- PPE Required: High-visibility outerwear and toe protection.
