Job Title: Warehouse Floater
Location: Fishers, Indiana
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Our client, a label manufacturing company in Fishers, IN, is seeking a dependable and motivated Production Floater to support multiple departments within their label manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is eager to learn, and can adapt quickly to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will also bring strong shipping experience to help support the logistics team during peak periods and staff absences.
Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Floater, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across multiple departments. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. You’ll assist with label rewind and rework processes, shipping, material handling, and general warehouse support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate rewind and rework equipment to inspect and prepare label rolls for shipment or further processing.
- Assist with FedEx and UPS shipping software to prepare and process outgoing shipments.
- Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Pull and restack pallets as needed to support production and shipping.
- Float between departments to assist with various tasks and ensure workflow continuity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and respond to operational needs as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with FedEx/UPS shipping software is required.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack (certification preferred).
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift heavy products (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a quick pace.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing tasks.
