Job Full Description
Our client in Westfield, IN is looking for a weekend brake press operator to join their team. This is a Friday and Saturday shift only.
Location: Westfield, IN
Schedule: Friday (6:30 am to 5:00 pm) and Saturday (7:00 am to 3:30 pm).
Pay: $18/hour plus a $100 Attendance Bonus paid weekly. If you earn the attendance bonus, your effective pay rate is $22.65 per hour.
Duties:
- Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, shape, and form components.
- Adjust machine settings (pressure, speed, etc.) to meet blueprint specifications.
- Perform tooling changes, alignments, and adjustments based on the job.
- Inspect finished products for defects and correct discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge
- Previous experience operating brake press machines
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Experience with tooling set ups
