Position: Weekend Shift Robotic Welder
Location: Westfield, IN
Hours:
- Friday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Total Hours: 17.5 hours
Salary: $16 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
Bonus: $100 weekly attendance bonus for perfect attendance on both Friday and Saturday. With the attendance bonus your effective pay rate is $22.00 to $26.00/hour!
About:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Westfield, IN, is seeking Weekend Welder Associates to join their growing team. This job is perfect for an experienced Welder seeking extra income and/or part-time work.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Robotic Weld machines and perform MIG/Spot Welding to manufacture products according to work instructions and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct visual inspection of parts and welds
- Operate cell efficiently to meet daily production schedules and flex to various workstations during the shift
- Accurately report all required paperwork and labor hours
- Clean and maintain machines and working area to ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Wear all appropriate safety equipment and follow all company safety procedures
- Perform all other essential functions assigned by management based on company needs
- Collaborate with Applications Engineers and Manufacturing Engineering during the early stages of prototyping to optimize product designs for value and manufacturability
Qualifications:
- Experience with MIG/Spot Welding and operating Robotic Weld machines
- Ability to perform visual inspections and maintain high-quality standards
- Flexibility to work at various workstations
- Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate safety equipment
