Job Full Description
We have been asked by a client in Fishers, IN to help them find a Shipping and Receiving / Traffic Associate. In this role you will support shipping and receiving operations by preparing shipments, verifying incoming materials, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced logistics environment. Your attention to detail and reliability will help ensure smooth inventory flow and operational efficiency.
Our client uses Microsoft Excel and Outlook extensively, so you must be able to edit, sort and color code Excel spreadsheets and compose emails to internal and external customers.
Pay, Schedule, and Benefits:
- Pay: $20.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What will you do as a Shipping and Receiving Associate?
- Prepare domestic and international shipments: pick, pack, label, and document materials
- Execute SAP transactions for “Pick” and “Ship”
- Use carrier systems like FedEx Ship Manager
- Process air bills, Bills of Lading, CN22s, Proforma Invoices, and returned materials
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and route items appropriately
- Build boxes/crates and verify serial and part numbers
- Operate pallet jacks, lifts, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records in SAP
- Generate memos, reports, and communicate shipment status internally using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Keep logistics areas clean and stocked
- Monitor packing supplies and report equipment issues
What qualifications will you have as a Shipping and Receiving Associate?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving or logistics experience preferred
- SAP ERP experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager and export documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Valid Indiana driver’s license
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently
