Job Full Description
We have been asked by a client in Westfield, IN to help them find a Machine Operator/Assembler. In this role, you will run an automatic wire processing machine for production, perform light assembly of wire and cable harnesses, set up machines for new production runs, ensure quality, and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Pay, Hours, and Benefits
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm
Type: Contract-to-hire opportunity
Benefits: Eligible for full benefits upon hire by the client
What will you do as a Machine Operator/Assembler?
- Load and run the wire processing machine
- Build battery cables with the wire you have cut
- Set up machines for new production runs
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Complete light assembly of wire and cable harnesses
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues as needed
What qualifications will you have as a Machine Operator/Assembler?
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
- 1–3 years of machine operator experience
- Experience with wire harness assembly or electronic assembly is a plus
- Ability to follow production specifications and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
