Job Full Description
We have been asked by a Logistics client in the Fishers to help them find a Data Entry Specialist. In this role you will support the onboarding of a large, new clients by accurately entering critical logistics data, maintaining clean databases, and helping shape future onboarding processes as the company continues to grow.
Pay, Hours, & Benefits
- Pay: $23.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
- Assignment Type: Contract-to-hire (eligible for hire at 13–14 weeks; employer may hire sooner at their discretion)
- Dress Code: Business casual
- Supervision: Work directly with the General Manager
- Benefits (upon hire): Full benefits package + 401(k)
What will you do as a Data Entry Specialist?
- Enter onboarding data for large, new clients—including bills of lading, freight providers, terms, POs, invoice numbers, and related logistics details—into company databases
- Ensure initial data accuracy so records can be reused for future orders
- Support efficiency by helping streamline and standardize onboarding data processes
- Assist in establishing procedures for onboarding future clients
- Contribute to new-client onboarding activities as needed
- Take on additional responsibilities as the company grows and opportunities emerge
What qualifications will you have as a Data Entry Specialist?
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently with high volumes of information
- Comfort working within databases and digital workflow systems
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and willingness to grow with a rapidly expanding company
