Location: Mandeville, LA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to join a busy healthcare team in Mandeville, LA. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance information prior to appointments
- Manage and coordinate schedules for physicians and staff
- Answer incoming patient calls and assist with inquiries
- Confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed
- Collect patient payments and process transactions
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members
- Create pre-admission encounters for patients
- Gather and maintain accurate patient information
Qualifications
- Previous medical scheduling or healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software
