Location: Hammond, LA and Bogalusa, LA
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician (Make-Ready) to join our team at an apartment community. This position plays a key role in preparing units for new residents while maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks
- Prepare apartments for move-in (make-ready)
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Assist with appliance removal and installation
- Replace or repair basic hardware
- Groundskeeping and property cleanup
- Support maintenance team with daily tasks
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift for extended periods
- Must be capable of heavy lifting
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or make-ready experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of tools and repair work
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
