Location: Covington, LA
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
A Hammond-area apartment community is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position focuses on maintaining and preparing units while ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and fully functional for residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interior painting and drywall repair
- Groundskeeping and general property upkeep
- Repairing, installing, and reinstalling appliances
- Completing routine maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required
- No trade licenses required
- Strong general repair skills and hands-on experience
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift for extended periods
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
