Location: Hammond, LA
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Rotating weekends as needed)
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Dog to join our team. This role is essential to keeping yard operations running smoothly by moving trailers and supporting daily logistics needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Move trailers and equipment safely within the yard
- Assist with loading and unloading when needed
- Keep yard organized and operating efficiently
- Perform basic equipment checks and report any issues
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous yard dog or similar experience preferred
- Ability to operate yard trucks or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable and able to work independently or with a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Frequent walking, standing, and climbing in/out of equipment
- Ability to handle physical tasks as needed
