Structural Fitter
Location: St. Bernard, LA
Pay: $26-$30/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Overtime: Optional Saturdays
Type: Full-time
We are seeking experienced Structural Fitters to join a growing team in St. Bernard Parish. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, fitting materials, and assembling structural steel components with accuracy and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Assemble and fit structural steel components.
- Perform layout and fabrication tasks according to specifications.
- Use hand and power tools to prepare and fit materials.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Structural Fitter required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with steel assembly and fabrication.
- Strong layout, measuring, and fitting skills.
- Reliable work ethic and attention to detail.
