Job Title: HR/Payroll Coordinator
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $20 - $27/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Flexible Hours Available)
Benefits: Full Benefits Package | 2 Weeks PTO | 7 Paid Holidays

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Coordinator to support our Human Resources department and assist with payroll processing. This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of HR experience and some exposure to payroll who is eager to grow in their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee recordkeeping, and policy updates

  • Provide support in payroll processing and data entry

  • Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with labor regulations

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll

  • Coordinate timekeeping systems and verify timecards for accuracy

  • Assist with benefits enrollment and employee communications

  • Support HR projects and audits as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources

  • Some experience or familiarity with payroll systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
