Job Summary:
The Insurance Administrator is responsible for managing and processing insurance documentation, claims, and policy records while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely communication with clients, insurers, and internal departments. This role supports the efficient operation of the insurance department and helps maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process new insurance applications, renewals, and policy changes accurately and in a timely manner

  • Maintain and update client policy records in internal systems

  • Review insurance documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Liaise with insurance providers, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries or discrepancies

  • Track claims, follow up on outstanding documentation, and support the claims process from start to finish

  • Ensure all insurance processes adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements

  • Prepare regular reports on policy status, claims activity, and administrative updates

  • Assist in auditing policy files and supporting documentation

  • Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, and data entry

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Previous experience in insurance administration, office administration, or customer service

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word & Excel 

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Knowledge of insurance terminology and regulatory requirements is a plus

  • P&C Licensed preferred but not mandatory
