Restoration Technician

Project-Based | On-Call
$17.00 – $20.00/hr (based on experience and project)

Job Overview
We’re hiring Restoration Technicians for multiple upcoming projects in Kansas City and Overland Park. This is a project-based, on-call position — ideal for candidates with a background in construction, demolition, or property restoration. You’ll help clean, repair, and restore homes and businesses affected by fire, water, mold, or storm damage.

What You'll Do
• Assist with cleanup, demolition, drying, and restoration tasks
• Set up and monitor equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, extractors, etc.)
• Follow job site safety protocols and wear PPE at all times
• Accurately document work (photos, logs, and daily notes)
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Work efficiently as part of a team under the direction of a crew lead

Requirements
• Must have your own PPE:
o Steel-toe boots
o Gloves
o Hard hat
o High-visibility vest or shirt
o Eye protection (goggles or safety glasses)
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
• Flexible availability (on-call, including some evenings/weekends)
• Experience in restoration, construction, or demolition is a plus
• IICRC certification is a plus
