Express Employment in Hackettstown, NJ is working with a local company in Lebanon, NJ who is looking for a Reach Truck Driver.
This is a temp to perm position!
Responsibilities:
- Determine what needs to be moved from main warehouse location to Warehouse 5 (WH5) approx. 5 miles away
- Load truck from main warehouse, drive truck to WH5, and unload
- Begin receiving orders for the day to pick items off of pallets at WH5
- Responsible for large shipments in and out of WH5
- General warehouse maintenance
- At times supervision of other workers helping at WH5 will be necessary (not the norm/limited)
- Required to learn all equipment – order picker, two different forklifts
Experience and Skills:
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable with computers (instruction provided)
- Able to read, speak, and write in the English language
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs with or without accommodation
- Able to work with carts, dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Totally reliable and punctual
- Desire to learn and take on responsibility
- Pride in work
- Comfortable working alone (independently)
- Able to work in climates of 50 degrees in winter and 90 degrees in summer
- Enjoys meeting deadlines on a day-to-day basis
- Comfortable with heights (order picker goes to 25 feet)
