Packer – Production Associate
Position Summary
Our client is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Packers to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging nutritional supplements and food products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring all products meet company quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Pack powders, capsules, bars, and other nutritional products into containers, boxes, or pouches.
- Pack individual finished product packages accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect products and packaging for defects, accuracy, and cleanliness.
- Apply labels and verify product codes, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
- Assemble cartons, seal boxes, and prepare products for shipping.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and production area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and quotas.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production line experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working on a production or packaging line is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and reliability.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
