PCBA Assembler
Location: Fair Lawn, NJ
Pay Rate: $26/hour
Schedule: M- F 8am- 4pm
Summary
We are seeking a skilled PCBA Assembler responsible for gathering components and accurately populating subassemblies according to specifications, written and verbal instructions, or provided samples. This role requires hands-on SMT soldering experience and strong attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic systems, components, and parts
- Follow verbal and written instructions in a professional and effective manner
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and reports
- Clean parts thoroughly prior to assembly
- Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials as needed
- Position and assemble parts according to drawings or provided samples
- Perform SMT soldering tasks with precision
- Multitask in a fast-paced production environment
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with procedures and regulations
- Follow G-Way and OSHA safety policies
- Use manual tools such as pliers, snips, and screwdrivers with precision
- Perform basic packaging tasks
Qualifications
- IPC-A-610G (J-Standard-G) Soldering Certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF component assembly
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
- Good eye-hand coordination
- Knowledge of electronic component identification (soldering test will be administered during interview)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to interpret safety rules and operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
