Customer Service Representative
Location: Monmouth County, NJ
Type: Full-time | Compensation: $20–$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Our client, a growing company in the commercial cleaning supply industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in supporting customers and internal teams with efficiency and care.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of the customer service team, you’ll be responsible for managing the full customer order process while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and high-quality service.

Accurately enter customer orders and manage related documentation (invoicing, scanning, filing)

Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally

Handle escalated issues with urgency and resolve them effectively

Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth service delivery

Verify pricing during order entry and proactively resolve discrepancies

Communicate product specifications clearly to customers

Apply your product knowledge to help customers make informed decisions

Maintain strong and professional communication via phone and email
What You Bring

3+ years of customer service experience, ideally in a product-based or distribution environment

Experience using QuickBooks (required) or similar ERP systems

Familiarity with customer-specific portals

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve order or pricing issues

A proactive, team-oriented approach with a focus on customer satisfaction
