Job Full Description
Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to support the firm’s day-to-day administrative and financial operations.
This is a part-time, in-office position, requiring 3 days per week (20–25 hours total). We are flexible with scheduling for the right candidate.
This role is well-suited for a professional who is organized, comfortable with accounting functions, and capable of handling confidential information in a legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain financial records and perform data entry
- Utilize QuickBooks (or comparable accounting software) for bookkeeping functions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Support billing and invoicing processes
- Handle bank deposits
- Manage outgoing shipping and mail
- Scan and electronically file proposals, contracts, and related documents
- Coordinate general office administrative tasks and supplies
- Maintain organized digital and physical files
- Provide general support to attorneys and administrative staff
Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting packages (required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Schedule
- 3 days per week, totaling 20–25 hours
- Flexible schedule within standard business hours
