Driver / Maintenance Person
Job Type: temp to perm
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver/Maintenance Person to assist with transportation and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, or supplies.
- Pick up and deliver supplies, parts, equipment, and other materials as needed.
- Assist with moving, loading, and unloading equipment and materials.
- Monitor vehicles, tools, and equipment and report needed repairs or replacements.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable driving regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, maintenance, and completed work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
- Previous experience in driving, maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and general repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify maintenance issues.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours or respond to occasional maintenance needs, if required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various environments.
- Ability to lift and carry materials as required.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions
