About Us:
Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in the production of high-quality metal and alloy powders used in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, and electronics.  They are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate.

Job Summary:
The Production Associate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our production line, ensuring the efficient and safe production of metal and alloy powders. This position requires someone who is hands-on, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production machinery involved in the manufacturing of metal and alloy powders.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and meet production targets.

  • Conduct routine quality checks and perform minor maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime.

  • Assist in the setup and calibration of production equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.

  • Package and label finished products for shipment.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production workflows and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.

  • Document production metrics and report any discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in powder production or metalworking (but not required).

  • Ability to work with machinery, tools, and production equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to stand, lift, and move materials for extended periods of time.

  • Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with metal powder production techniques and industry standards.

  • Experience with safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

  • Basic knowledge of process control systems.
