Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operator to join our team at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Millville, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to handle, move, and store products while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to support communication within our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach truck equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas
- Safely store products in designated rack locations, often at elevated heights
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (GMPs)
- Accurately track inventory movements using RF scanners or warehouse systems
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and staging products
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating a reach truck or similar forklift equipment required
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a food manufacturing or cold storage environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (including refrigerated areas, if applicable)
- Basic English communication skills required; Spanish-speaking preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
