Forklift Operator
Location: Vineland, NJ
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
1st and 2nd shifts
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a sit-down forklift with a 3-pedal system and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves moving materials, loading and unloading products, and supporting daily warehouse operations while maintaining safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift (3-pedal system) throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Transport products to designated storage and staging areas.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory movement and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Experience operating a forklift with a 3-pedal system preferred.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull materials.
