Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Position Overview

Join an industry leader in pallets, waste and recycling containers, supply chain solutions, and direct store delivery solutions. We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials while ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport pallets, containers, and materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
• Move finished products, raw materials, and recyclable items to designated locations.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Accurately stage materials for shipping, receiving, and production operations.
• Follow warehouse inventory and material handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, logistics, or distribution environments is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and material handling activities.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment.
