Job Full Description
Responsible for mixing and blending chemical formulations by following batch sheets and detailed procedures. Reports to the Quality Manager or Blending Supervisor. Requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in chemical handling or blending. Must be physically capable of wearing PPE and working in extreme temperatures, with a strong understanding of chemical safety and basic math. DOT Hazmat certification, spill response training, and (for Houston) a valid TWIC card are preferred.
Key duties include maintaining a clean and safe batch area; monitoring tanks, inventories, temperatures, and fill levels; weighing and metering blend components; handling and transferring hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals; and properly connecting tanks, hoses, and fill lines. The role requires familiarity with blending equipment, pumps, valves, and safety procedures, as well as maintaining accurate records in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
