Painter/Loader – Steel Fabrication Shop
Location: Shawnee, OK
Pay: $14/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime Available)
Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Painter/Loader for a local steel fabrication shop. This position involves preparing, painting, and loading steel parts while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Prepare steel parts for painting, including cleaning and surface prep.

Apply industrial coatings and paints to fabricated steel components.

Safely load and unload steel materials using proper equipment and procedures.

Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy.

Assist with general shop duties as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a steel fabrication or industrial environment preferred.

Must be able to pass a basic math test.

Crane operating experience is a plus.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
