Costume Helper/Handler – One-Day Event
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a fun, one-day event opportunity!
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Costume Helper/Handler to assist a Chester Cheetah character during a special promotional event at Walmart.
Pay: $25.00/hr
Date: September 25, 2026
Time: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Location: Walmart
Position: One-Day Event
Job Duties:

Assist and accompany the Chester Cheetah character throughout the event

Help ensure the character remains safe and comfortable while in costume

Guide the character through the store and event area
-
Assist with customer interactions, photos, and crowd flow
-
Communicate with event staff and follow all event instructions

Help maintain a fun, positive, and professional atmosphere
Requirements:
-
Reliable and punctual
-
Comfortable working around large crowds and interacting with customers
-
Able to stand and walk for the duration of the event

Strong communication and awareness of surroundings
-
Must be attentive and able to assist the character as needed

Previous event, mascot, promotional, or customer service experience is a plus
