Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Accounts Payables Clerk to cover for an employee on leave of absence. This position is essential to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts payable department during this temporary period. The dates needed for this role are immediate through May 16th, potentially longer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming invoices and ensure they are approved for payment.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records in the financial system.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
- Support the financial team by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
