This company is a critical link between local food processors and consumers by providing reliable and efficient cold storage solutions.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join this team. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent customer relations and ensuring the smooth operational flow within our facilities. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between clients and warehouse operations, ensuring that all customer needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding our storage services, pricing, and policies.
- Order Management: Process customer orders accurately and maintain up-to-date records of inventory and storage requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns, provide timely solutions, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Support Team: Assist in scheduling storage and retrieval requests, as well as coordinate with logistics for trucking and delivery arrangements.
- Sales Support: Assist in promoting and selling additional services to customers by effectively communicating the benefits of our offerings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in business or customer service preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or food industry setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
