Job Full Description
Trainee Fire Services Technician
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a mechanically inclined candidate for a Fire Service Technician trainee position. If you are enthusiastic about working with your hands and also working with people this may be a good fit for you.
You will train in and eventually become responsible for inspection, installation and repair of fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, fire sprinkler systems, and backflow testing.
Customer service and sales experience helps has interaction with various businesses is a regular part of the job.
Military experience is a plus.
Pay and Hours
- $18 - $19 / hour
- Monday-Friday (Day Shift)
Qualities
- Mechanically inclined
- Customer service experience
- Will work individually or in a team environment
- Computer skills and iPad knowledge are helpful in performing job duties.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Will need to be on feed, bend, stoop and twist to perform job duties
Other
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required
