A local law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal. The firm is dedicated to advocating for individuals and families who have been seriously injured due to wrongful conduct or defective products. Its practice emphasizes justice, accountability, and community safety, with a strong reputation for legal excellence and trial advocacy.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site position. The Paralegal will assist attorneys with discovery, medical records and bills, working with clients and adjusters, preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting research, organizing case materials, and helping to prepare for mediations and trials. Additional responsibilities include communicating with lienholders, managing case files, and supporting the legal team in all aspects of case preparation and court proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Required experience as a plaintiff personal injury paralegal
- Strong research, discovery, and case management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure (ORCPs) and Uniform Trial Court Rules (UTCRs) preferred
- Experience with legal case management and document software is a plus
