Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, materials handling, and ensuring that products are stored and shipped efficiently. Pick and Pack experience required, Forklift experience preferred. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate RF scanners to track inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
- Utilize reach trucks and cranes for moving heavy items safely within the warehouse.
- Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and report discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in materials handling, including loading and unloading shipments from delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking.
- Pick and Pack experience.
- Forklift preferred, not required.
- Experience operating reach trucks and forklifts is preferred.
- Strong skills in picking, packing, and heavy lifting tasks.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently within a warehouse setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
