NOW HIRING: Tax Office Clerk
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a local office seeking a dependable and organized Tax Office Clerk to join their team!
This position works with property taxes (not income taxes) and is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, handling money, and staying organized in a busy office environment.
Primary Duties Include:
• Answering phones and assisting customers with routine questions
• Directing callers to the appropriate department
• Data entry, account lookups, and basic document preparation
• Accepting property tax payments in person and by mail
• Posting payments into the system accurately
• Balancing a cash till daily and entering funds into the financial system
• Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable handling cash and payments
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Basic computer and office equipment experience
• Ability to multitask in a professional office setting
Pay: $19.57/hour
