This is for a local retirement company specializing in providing third-party administration (TPA) services for employers of all sizes. We collaborate with business owners to design, implement, and administer 401(k) Profit Sharing Plans.
Position Overview: As a 401(k) Plan Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing annual reports, tracking deadlines, interpreting and reviewing plan documents, and developing positive working relationships with coworkers, clients, and advisors. Approximately 70% of your duties will involve data collection, accounting, and administrative tasks, while the remaining 30% will focus on client communication through phone, email, and occasional in-person meetings.

Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing census data and determining eligibility
- Conducting compliance testing, including HCE/Key determination, Top Heavy, ADP/ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), and 415
- Calculating contribution allocations
- Performing self-employment income calculations
- Reconciling plan trust assets
- Completing annual valuation reports
- Preparing required government filings, including Form 5500 series
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Experience in accounting or finance
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
- Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
