Tier 1: Warehouse Clerk
Entry-Level Position – Foundational Role
Job Summary:
The Tier 1 Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing essential warehouse tasks, including the accurate selection and preparation of orders for shipment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations while building strong attention to detail and teamwork skills. As a key part of the team, the Warehouse Clerk ensures that products are efficiently picked and ready for timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pull and prepare orders based on picking lists
- Ensure proper storage and organization of products in designated warehouse areas
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Maintain and update inventory records as required
- Meet daily performance targets, ensuring timely order completion and shipment readiness
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure a safe working environment
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality
- Report any discrepancies in order or product quality to Warehouse Lead or Manager
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Dependable and eager to develop new skills
