Cook – Senior Living Facility
Ashland, OR | $22.00+ per hour, DOE
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Cook for a senior living facility in Ashland. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing quality meals and creating a positive dining experience for residents.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to planned menus

Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and dietary requirements

Accommodate special diets and resident needs

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen

Follow food-safety and proper food-storage procedures

Assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanup

Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs

Work cooperatively with kitchen and facility staff
Qualifications:

Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a commercial kitchen preferred

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to follow recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions

Dependable, organized, and able to work independently

Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Oregon Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one

Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 40 pounds
Pay: $22.00+ per hour, depending on experience
